Egypt condemns terrorist attack in Iraq's Kirkuk

Egypt has strongly condemned a terrorist attack that targeted a football pitch in the Dakuk district of Kirkuk in northern Iraq on Sunday. 

The attack left six civilians dead and nine more injured.

Egypt expressed condolences to the families of the dead and wished the injured a speedy recovery, according to a statement by the foreign ministry. 

The statement voiced support for the Iraqi government and people in the fight against terrorism, extremism and violence.
