Presidential decree calls Egypt's parliament to convene 1 October 2019

Egypt's President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi issued a decree to call on the House of Representatives to convene and begin its next legislative session next Tuesday, 1 October, 2019.

The Presidential Decree 452 for 2019,  which was published in the Official State gazette on Tuesday, stipulates that the parliament's fifth legislative season for 2019/20 will kick off on Tuesday at 10 AM Cairo local time 1 October 2019.

The upcoming legislative session will be the last one for the House of representatives as new parliamentary elections will be held at the end of 2020.
