President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi praised on Monday the strong and distinguished Egyptian-Kuwaiti relations and asserted Egypt's keenness on enhancing cooperation in all fields, particularly trade and economic ties and attracting more Kuwaiti investments.
This came during El-Sisi's meeting with Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Jabir Al Mubarak Al Hamad Al Sabah, Presidency Spokesman Bassam Radi said. The Kuwaiti premier expressed the Kuwaiti government and people's appreciation of the historical and close relations with Egypt on all levels, he added.
The prime minister hailed Egypt's pivotal role in the region as being a main pillar for security and stability in the Arab world.
He praised Egypt's keenness on boosting solidarity among Arab nations and pushing forward joint Arab action.
The meeting covered bilateral relations and the latest regional developments, the spokesman said, adding that President El-Sisi asserted that the security of the Gulf was linked to Egypt's national security.
