The Egyptian cabinet under Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly approved on Thursday a number of bills, including one regulating medicinal research.
The bill aims at laying down the regulations for medicinal research and protecting researchers.
Under the bill, the researchers must comply with Egyptian law, relevant charters and the international code of ethics.
The cabinet also approved a bill that introduces amendments to Law No. 177/2018.
Under the bill, the name "Egypt Fund" will be replaced by "Egypt's Sovereign Fund for Investment and Development."
The fund aims at contributing to the country's sustainable economic development.
The cabinet also approved a bill under which the Youths and Sports Ministry will sign a cooperation protocol with the National Bank of Egypt worth EGP 4 million.
