Saudi King King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on Sunday sent a cable of condolences to President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi over the victims of Saturday's deadly road accident in Port Said governorate.
The Saudi king wished a speedy recovery for the injured, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud sent a similar cable.
Twenty-three people were killed and six others injured when a bus carrying factory workers crashed into a truck on the Port Said-Damietta highway on Saturday.
Egypt's prosecutor-general ordered on Sunday the detention of the truck driver on charges of on charges of manslaughter.
