Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry has reiterated his country's rejection of any form of foreign military interference in Libya during a meeting with Algerian counterpart Sabri Boukadoum in Algiers on Thursday
According to a statement by the Egyptian FM, Shoukry stressed the importance of avoiding complicating or escalating the situation in Libya through any foreign intervention in the war-torn country.
He also called for boosting all efforts to reach a complete political settlement and support the efforts of the UN special envoy as well as to continue the preparation for the Berlin conference.
Boukadoum and Shoukry also discussed Egyptian-Algerian bilateral relations as well as ways to boost cooperation and coordination between the two countries.
Shoukry arrived in Algiers for a short visit on Thursday, delivering a message from President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi to the newly-elected President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
