Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry left Washington to heading to Munich, Germany to take part in the 56th Munich Security Conference (MSC) which kicked off yesterday and is set to run until Sunday.
The MSC will focus on the future of the European Union (EU) and key challenges and crises in the regional and international arenas.
The foreign minister is set to participate in several sessions to be held as part of the conference to shed light on the Egyptian vision on means of dealing with various regional and international issues, Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Hafez said.
The Egyptian foreign minister will also hold talks with a large number of officials participating in the conference to discuss means of boosting joint cooperation, Hafez added.
