Activists in Sinai are arranging demonstrations in the city of Arish in Sinai to protest Israeli strikes against Gaza, which started on Friday and have led to up to 23 deaths so far.

A number of political groups in Arish organised a demonstration in one the city's main squares, Al-Horeyya, to condemn the latest series of Israeli attacks on the neighbouring Gaza Strip. Organisers include the Karama party, the Committee of Revolution Safeguarding, and other activist groups.

A group of students in Sinai University held an adjacent protest inside the university's campus in solidarity with Gaza. Students also chanted in support of the Syrian uprising.
