Two Brazilian tourists kidnapped in South Sinai along with their tour guide and were released on Monday morning, eight hours after they were taken hostage by armed Bedouin.
The armed forces and police, in cooperation with Bedouin tribal sheikhs, secured the hostages' release.
Viela Fageles, 30, and Sarah Lima Soviro, 20, their tourist guide and a policeman assigned to protect them were reportedly kidnapped on Sunday when three armed Bedouin stopped their tour bus.
The kidnappers had demanded the release of a jailed tribesman in return for the hostages, but according to official security sources, no deals were made with the kidnappers.
