A huge fire destroyed a 20,000-square-metre warehouse at a food factory in Giza’s 6 October City on Sunday.
The warehouse was full of corn and other items including machines used in producing potato chips and corn snacks.
Thirty fire engines from Giza and Qalioubiya governorates were involved in putting out the blaze, the black smoke from which was visible from miles away.
No casualties have been reported.
The Giza prosecution is investigating the incident.
