Four were executed on Wednesday morning for killing 16 people in 2015 at a nightclub in Giza.
In August 2017, a Giza criminal court sentenced Mohamed Emad Mohamed Ali, 18, Mohamed Abdel Rahman, 19, Mohamed Gamal, 19, and Mahmoud Said, 19, to death for setting Al-Sayyad nightclub and restaurant in Giza's Agouza district on fire using Molotov cocktails because they were denied entry by its bouncers.
The prosecution stated the crime was an act of revenge against the nightclub owners for not letting them in.
