Egypt to see three days of mild weather; 30-40% chance of rainfall in some areas

Cairo, Lower Egypt and the northern coast will see cool weather over the next three days and cold nights, while the other areas will witness moderate temperatures

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) has forecast mild weather from Thursday to Saturday in the majority of governorates, with a chance of mild to heavy rainfall in other areas.

Cairo, Lower Egypt and the northern coast will see cool weather over the next three days, and cold nights, while other areas will witness moderate temperatures, according to the EMA.

A 40 percent chance of mild rainfall is forecast on Thursday over the northern coast, with active wind in South Sinai, while a 30 percent chance of heavy rainfall is forecast on the northern coast and mild rainfall in some western areas on Friday, with active winds in South Sinai.

On Saturday, mild to moderate rainfall is expected in Lower Egypt and the northern coast and western areas.

As of Thursday, Cairo will see highs ranging between 24 and 26 degrees Celsius and lows of 17 to 28 degrees. The northern coast of Egypt will see highs ranging between 22 and 24 degrees and lows of 18 degrees. South Sinai will see highs of 28 to 29 and lows of 19 to 20 degrees Celsius.

Northern Upper Egypt will see highs of 26 to 28 throughout the three days with lows ranging from 15 to 16 degrees, while Upper Egypt will see highs of 28 to 30 degrees and lows of 16 to 17 degrees.
