Egypt’s Micro, Small and Medium enterprises Development Agency (MSMEDA) will organise on Thursday the “Al-Bazaar” fair for handicrafts and house decors at Cairo’s International Convention Center.
Held under the auspices of President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, the event will be held from 11-20 March, as the beginning of a series of exhibitions organised by the MSMEDA to promote and market the handicrafts as well as to be a support to the sector.
Egypt’s Trade and Industry Minister Nevine Gamea said that the interest by President El-Sisi and the state in the handicrafts sector comes under its vital economic, social and cultural role in the labour-intensive sector, which is also a major source of income nationwide.
