Workers detain vice president of Egyptian Trade Union Federation

The Egyptian workers union's vice president is accused of corruption and held at the Worker's University

Vice president of the government controlled Egyptian Federation of Trade Unions, Mostafa Mongy, has been detained since Monday morning by workers demanding his immediate resignation.

Accused of corruption, Mongy has been under detention at the Workers’ University, where he works as its manager. The employees detaining Mongy demand his resignation from the university and his exclusion from the union.
