Egypt's cabinet, headed by Hisham Qandil, is to submit its first three-month report to President Morsi at the presidential palace Tuesday.
According to the March 2011 constitution referendum, the president supervises the cabinet's work.
Qandil's report is expected to detail the cabinet's activities during the past three months, including a security briefing and how it dealt with the budget deficit.
Morsi appointed Qandil as prime minister in July 2012. Before that he held the post of minister of water resources and irrigation since 2011.
Egypt's cabinet, appointed under Morsi's regime, is known to be dominated by either Muslim Brotherhood members or figures allied with the Brotherhood. Notably, the constitution declaration also gives Morsi legislative power in the absence of the people's assembly (lower house of parliament), which has been dissolved since June 2012.
