Hundreds of young activists demonstrated today in front of the Libyan Consulate in Alexandria to express their solidarity with the Libyan people.

The Egyptian protesters held banners asking the Libyan regime to respect the people’s demands for change and to avoid using violence against the protesters.

A statement, signed by various political groups in Egypt as well as youths behind the January 25 revolution, was delivered to the consulate for the attention of the Libyan government.

Yesterday, hundreds of Libyans protested demanding that Moammar Gadhafi steps down and asking for political and economic reform. The protests are believed to have been inspired by the revolutions that took place in Tunisia and Egypt.

Viva Green Libya!
You can kill thousands but you can never kill the longing for freedom and justice. And your lies won t last forever. Cause man cannot survive without justice and respect. That s why Africa and the Green Revolution are going to triumph one day. Lumumba, Che, Allende, ... they will live forever in our hearts and minds, cause their example and the example of their successors are the light at the end of the tunnel in these dark times mankind is going through. Watch the empire falling Let us Free Honduras, Free Iraq, Free Green Libya! And save the world from WW III
