Egypt's president meets with aides to discuss fallout from controversial decree

The presidency is expected to release a statement following the meeting

President Mohamed Morsi has finished a meeting with his advisors and assistants on Sunday to discuss the controversial constitutional decree he issued on Thursday.

The president's meeting with advisers is the second since the release of the constitutional decree.

According to leaked reports from the meeting, a presidential statement is expected to be issued soon.
