Egyptian Military forces approved Sunday the crossing of the two Iranian navy ships through Suez canal.

An official at the Suez Canal stated that two navy ships will cross the canal from the Red Sea to the Mediterranean Sea on Monday.

The ships are the first to cross the canal since 1979.

Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman described the Iranian plan of sending its ships through the Suez Canal as "provocation."
