Prime Minister Hisham Qandil said on Tuesday that he is still in talks with president Mohamed Morsi over names of candidates for a partial cabinet reshuffle.

Two ministers in the cabinet have announced their resignation in the past two weeks: the minister of telecommunication Hany Mahmoud and minister of parliamentary affairs Mohamed Mahsoub.

Hisham Qandil's current cabinet was sworn in on 2 August 2011 and is made of 35 ministeries.
