Tarek El-Zomor has threatened to use violence if President Morsi is forced from power.

“The voice of violence shall prevail above everything else,” said El-Zomor, official spokesperson of Al-Gamaa Al-Islamiya's Construction and Development Party, in a statement released on Thursday.

El-Zomor’s threat comes before nationwide protests scheduled for 25 January to celebrate the second anniversary of Egypt's revolution.

He said that he was ready to fight any opponents of the Islamist current.

President Morsi was elected and can only be removed via the ballot box at the next presidential election in 2016, he added.

“If the president is forced out of power through illegitimate means, the Muslim Brotherhood, which is known to be peaceful, would have to step aside for revolutionary Islamists to fight the anarchists and secularists,” El-Zomor said.

“In this case, martyrdom will be the least we can offer to fight the communists, secularists and Nasserists,” he said. “They are jealous of the Islamists and their Islamic project.”

Calling for violence is CRIME !!!
People who are calling for violence should be arrested in spot, regardless."Egypt's Morsi stands by edict, calls for punishment of violent protesters. (They) will not escape punishment," the president said in a televised speech.

escalation by both sides
The way media glorifies thugs with words like revolutionarties or activists will bring the country into a long-term civil war. If that were to occur, we will all lose. Morsi is no Mubarak, has has the right to a 4-year term, or we will exchange presidents each two months in a Somali style system.

Egypt is occupied Territory
Your are right, Morsy theses people are worse than Mubarek. They are a cancer to Islam and to Egypt. They have an agenda. Unfortunately they have the Egyptian people wrapped around their finger. Slowly but surely the Egyptian people will wake up and see that these extremist only have one goal domination . Their retarded understanding of our beautiful religion is a cancer. That will eat our county up. The country is in economic crisis and what are the brotherhood and all the other extremist grips doing? Are they doing? Trying to creat jobs? Invite foriegn investment?no they are consolidating power. Power grabs forcing a retarded constitution dividing the country scaring away investors. I don't think they understand Egypt is not Iran we are not rich in oil we need foriegn investment and an open market. Their agenda will make Egyptians hungrier tans hungrier. Shame on us for allowing the cancer to get this strong.
