Egypt’s general prosecution has ordered the arrest of four senior officials at the Ministry of Interior for conforming to orders of former Interior Minister Habib El-Adly and killing demonstrators during the 25 January Revolution.
The four detained include assistants Ismail El-Shaer, head of Cairo security, and Adly Fayed, head of public security affairs, as well as Ahmed Ramzy, assistant to the former head of Cairo security, and Hassan Abdelrahman, former head of state security.
The four are accused of attempted murder and the misuse of public funds.
