Egyptian authorities arrested Parliament Member Abdelnasser El-Gabry on Friday on charges of inciting thugs to attack protestors gathered in Tahrir Square on 2 February.

El-Gabry allegedly sent thugs from the area of Nazlet El-Seman with camels in attempts to end the sit-in staged in Tahrir Square during the 25 January revolt.

Tens were reported dead and several more injured as a result of clashes between thugs and protestors on 2 February.
