Egyptian bomb disposal experts late Tuesday evening successfully disarmed a bomb found at the Muslim Brotherhood's headquarters in Cairo's Moqattam district, according to a security source cited by Al-Ahram's Arabic-language news website.
The source of the bomb remains unknown.
The group's headquarters were torched and ransacked by violent attackers following clashes on Sunday.
For the last three days, millions have taken to the streets countrywide to demand the ouster of President Mohamed Morsi, who hails from the ranks of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Recent days have also seen hundreds of thousands turn out for rallies in support of the embattled president.
