Egyptian interim Prime Minister Hazem El-Beblawi met Sunday with five candidates to head up the culture, foreign affairs, higher education and information and social solidarity ministries.
Respectively, these posts might be filled by: Egyptian ambassador to the United States, Nabil Fahmy; head of the Cairo Opera House, Inas Abdel-Dayem; political analyst Amr El-Shobaki; media figure Dorreya Sharaf El-Din and former manpower minister Ahmed El-Boraie.
El-Beblawi was appointed following a roadmap mediated by the military amid anti-Morsi political forces after the overthrow of Egypt's Islamist leader on 3 July. He announced on Saturday that the Cabinet will be composed of 30 ministries and the appointments would be finalised by midweek.
