Egypt's general prosecutor ordered on Wednesday the referral of the Muslim Brotherhood's supreme guide Mohamed Badie, deputy supreme guide Khairat El-Shater, and deputy leader Rashad Bayoumi to criminal court for inciting violence against peaceful protesters.

The prosecutor also ordered the arrest of the Muslim Brotherhood's Osama Yassin and Essam El-Erian, in addition to Salafist preacher Safwat Hegazy.

An arrest warrant was issued on Sunday for Badie.

Earlier on Wednesday, the prosecution ordered that El-Shater and Bayoumi, in addition to former Brotherhood supreme guide Mahdy Akef and Freedom and Justice Party leader Saad El-Katatni, be detained for another 15 days in Tora Prison pending investigations into charges of inciting to kill protesters.

All four are accused of inciting to kill protesters in front of the Muslim Brotherhood headquarters in Cairo's Mokattam and around the pro-Morsi sit-in at Giza's Nahda square.

The Brotherhood leaders were arrested early July in a crack-down on Islamist figures following the popularly-backed army removal of elected president Morsi on 3 July.

reversing roles
Al Sisi and the interim government are arresting the leaders of the MB for "inciting the killing of civilians"? Who sacked and burnt the headquarters of the MB on June 30th? who kidnapped president Morsi after the coup on July 3rd and hold him incommunicado in a secret place? Who killed more than 50 people on July 8th at praying time? Who asked a mandate to act against "potential terrorism" and next day killed over 80 civilians? And now the general prosecutor expects people to remain silent and accept all this?

Prison awaits for those blood in their hands
Morsi has no blood in his hand at all. You may hate him that is fine. Sisi and elbaradein murdered overb100 and 51 @ republican guards. They injured thousands. They are the ones Tora prison awaits. When in there they probably rot in there.

Protest responded with gun and arrests
Sisi and elbaradei keep wanting peace so they govern via coup. They must be so annoyed that they cannot progress further. Why ? Simple answer they are illegitimate coupist. They speak same dictator languages we clear this protest soon, we use full force of military and police ! In the process they are thinking of rewriting of our voted on constitution. We ratified our constitution on referendum and our blood on the streets.. Arresting leaders you do not like it does not make you great guys . At least these leaders protect all oppositions and never arrested them or harassed. This is the difference between a Muslim leaders and others. Islam is Just with justice.

Strange
Sorry to laugh about your comment, at least about the last sentences... Do you live in Utopia? What about the "peaceful and just" Status Quo in islamic countries? You want to know it? Ok then open the reports of the Democracy Index and find all the Islamic countries concerning political and human rights way down the list at the absolut end. Strange or?..

Sorry, are you daydreaming, don't you have a TV to see all the killing every day in islamic countries with their islamic leaders. Iraq and others. I see nothing there, neither justice nor anything else good concering Human Rights!!...

Sorry for the MB
This is an interesting situation: Tamarod rebels were once Muslim Brotherhood supporters. They VOTED for the MB and then after being disappointed rebelled against them, along with everyone else who supported them. This is an attack on Radical & Political Islam by Muslims. By DEVOUT muslims. Your version of Islamic religion is no longer being respected by those who consider themselves muslims. All these useless Islamic preachers seem to be talking about is how to be disgusted by Christians and hate infidels and America. Is that ALL there is in your religion? To attack other religions and groups? Do you have any nice quotes you can share with anyone about Love and Forgiveness? Tamarod are now asking that the USA and the EU consider the MB as a terrorist Organisation. Wow.. can you imagine - Muslims asking that those who follow the Quran to the letter be considered as terrorists? Why is that?? The MB and salafists, when they were in power, made people hate Islam. They were just big bullie
