Dr Hisham Abdel Hamid, spokesperson of the Forensic Authority, stated that four Al-Azhar University students have been killed to date since the start of clashes at the university.
According to the authority, the four students killed are: Talaat Mohamed Saad, 20, Khaled Mohamed Mahmoud, 20, Islam Osama, 19, and Abdel Ghanay Mohamed Hamoda, 20.
Abdel Hamid added that the Forensic Authority submitted reports on the killed students to be included in the general prosecution's investigations.
Clashes have erupted between pro-Morsi students and security forces frequently at Al-Azhar University since the start of the academic year. Hundreds of students have been arrested for rioting and attacking security forces.
