Ahmed Megahed, head of the Egyptian General Book Organization, announced that they will continue the summer cultural season activity. Its first seminar will take place next Tuesday, 24 May in Salah Abd-Elsabor Hall in the authority building on the Nile.
Megahed said the seminars will spotlight the changes taking place in Egypt and offer opinions of experts and thinkers about those changes.
The program begins with a seminar on Tuesday at 6:30p.m. It discusses "change and human development issues" with young human development trainers experienced in volunteer work. They are Ehab Maged, Karim El-Shazli, Muhammed El-Sharkawi, Mona Al-Qassas. Khaled Abdel-Rasol, a journalist at Al-Shorouk newspaper will moderate the seminar.
Megahed added that the series of seminars will be entitled "New Methods in Cultural Creativity: Independent Groups." The seminars will discuss several subjects and concepts that have developed Egyptians' cultural tastes, and encouraged them to react and deal with individual and societal change.
The program discusses the role of human development organizations, Facebook pages, private satellite channels, free press, free theatre and non-periodical magazines.
