French Institute of Egypt will host the renowned French political scientist and international relations specialist Bertrand Badie on Wednesday, 4 May at 5:00pm, to discuss his latest book, We are No More Alone in this World: A Different look at the International Order.

Badie's book was released on 17 March in French under the title Nous ne sommes plus seuls au monde: Un autre regard sur l'ordre international from La Découerte publishing house in Paris.

The seminar at the French Institute will be held in cooperation with Cairo University. Audio translation from French to Arabic will be provided.

Badie, 65, is a French political scientist and international relations specialist and works as a professor emeritus at Sciences Po in Paris. He is best known for his books The Sociology of the State, which is available in English, and Diplomacy of Connivance.
