Elsissy gives a first-hand account of Libya's revolution and examines the 41-year reign of Muammar Gaddafi

The February 17 Revolution and the Secret Side of Gaddafi, by Ayman Elsissy, General Egyptian Book Organisation, 2011.

Ayman Elsissy narrates his adventures in Libya during the February 17 Revolution, his eyewitness accounts of the fighting, and his meetings with several groups to discuss Gaddafi’s Jewish origins.

Elsissy examines Gaddafi’s speech on 7 October 1973, one day after the launch of the 6 October War, in which he doubted Egypt’s ability to defeat Israel, and warned against excessive joy and belief in the military command, which Elsissy says was his greatest error.

Gaddafi was a tool and an agent, among other things, Elsissy concludes, who was manipulated by Zionists and colonialists to destroy third world countries and hinder their development.
