The Russian Cultural Centre in Cairo will host a lecture on 22 October at 7pm on the history of Russian-Egyptian relations by Bashir Malzagov, the deputy director of the Russian Diplomats Association.

The lecture will focus on Russian-Egyptian relations since the Soviet era as well as the ongoing developments in ties in light of President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi's visit to Russia last week and the agreements recently signed between the two countries.

Malzagov served at the Russian Federation Council in Egypt twice and speaks fluent Arabic.
