DAAL Media and Research Center, will commemorate the memory of the late Palestinian thinker, Salama Kaileh, on Thursday, 15 November at 6:00pm.
Salama Kaileh, (1955 – 2018), a prominent Marxist thinker, born in Berzeit in Palestine, he earned his bachelor degree in political sciences from Baghdad University in 1979, he took part in the Palestinian resistance. He moved to Syrian in 1981 before he was jailed there for 8 years in 1992.
He published over 30 books including The Revolution and Problems of Organizing, 1983, Arabs and the Issue of the Nation 1989, The dilemma of Pan Arabism 1990, From Hegel to Marx: issues of the Dialetic 2 Volumes 2004.
Kaileh died in Oman on 2 Oct 2018 at the age of 63. He died of complications Of cancer, that he struggled with for years.
