Event: The History of the Arabic Book and its Cultural role at Bibliotheca Alexandrina

Egyptian and Arab experts will examine value and role of Arabic book at two-day seminar in Alexandria

Bibliotheca Alexandrina and the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (ISESCO) will be co-organising a seminar on the History of the Arabic Book and its Cultural Role, on Monday and Tuesday (26- 27 November).

The event will be held with the participation of eminent Egyptian and Arab experts, intellectuals, academics and scholars. The event tackles themes including the value and role of the Arabic book, cultural interaction and its role in the modern renaissance.
