Hamas welcomes Palestinian reconciliation

Hamas spokesman tells Ahram Online that Cairo will host the agreement signing ceremony, to which all Palestinian factions are invited

Hamas spokesperson, Taher Al-Nono has welcomed the reconciliation agreement signed on Wednesday in Cairo.

Hamas and Fatah signed with first initial an agreement "which settles all pending issues" between the two leading Palestinian factions.

Al-Nono told Ahram Online that the agreement was preceded by several separate meetings between Egyptians and representatives from each faction.

"The final agreement will be signed shortly in Cairo, in the presence of all Palestinian factions," he added, without fixing a date for the ceremony.
