Tunisia's Islamist Ennahda party is in second place after Sunday's parliamentary elections, a spokesman told AFP, trailing secular movement Nidaa Tounes.

"We have estimates which are not yet final. They (Nidaa Tounes) are ahead by around a dozen seats," Ennahda spokesman Zied Laadhari said.

"We will have around 70 seats and they will have about 80" out of 217, he said, adding that the estimates were based on data provided to Ennahda observers at polling stations.
