Russia is ready to work on the draft UN resolution France has submitted to the UN Security Council, Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Thursday.

"We are ready to work on this text" provided it does not contradict the US-Russia ceasefire agreement or other UN resolutions, Lavrov said at a press conference with French counterpart Jean-Marc Ayrault.
