A second strong earthquake hit central Italy on Wednesday including the capital Rome, just two hours after a 5.4 quake sent residents running out of their houses and into the streets.

Two people were reported injured in the town of Visso and collapses and damage were reported. The second quake was put at 5.9 by the Italian earthquake institute (INGV).
