A Palestinian teenager died of her wounds on Friday, a day after she stabbed an Israeli soldier and was shot, the Israeli hospital that treated her said.
The Palestinian girl, identified by official Palestinian news agency Wafa as Nouf Infiaat, 16, from the occupied West Bank town of Yaabad, had stabbed a soldier with a knife at the entrance to Mevo Dotan, an illegal Jewish settlement southwest of Jenin.
Infiaat was then shot by other soldiers at the scene.
She was taken to the Hillel Yaffe hospital in the Israeli city of Hadera in critical condition, and on Friday succumbed to her wounds, a hospital spokeswoman told AFP.
The soldier was taken to the same hospital with a stab wound to his upper body.
Israeli clampdown on a wave of Palestinian protests in late 2015 against illegal settlements in east Jerusalem and attacks on Aqsa mosque left 267 Palestinians dead.
Palestinian attacks left 41 Israelis, two Americans, two Jordanians, an Eritrean, a Sudanese and a Briton dead.
The violence has subsided in recent months.
