Kremlin says knows official Saudi stance on Khashoggi, rest is for investigators

Russia has heard the official Saudi Arabia's stance that the royal family had no connection to the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

Other matters are for investigators, he told reporters.

Khashoggi, died after he entered the Saudi consulate in Istanbul in early October.

Turkish and Saudi investigations have showed that Khashoggi was killed in ithe consulate.

Saudi authorities have arrested 18 Saudi nationals in connection to the killing of Khashoggi.

On Tuesday, Turkish President Erdogan called on Saudi Arabia to hand the suspects to Ankara to stand trial in Turkey.
