Lebanon's government appointed four central bank vice governors on Wednesday, local broadcasters said, after the posts were left vacant for over a year as the country slid into financial crisis.

The crisis, hammering Lebanon since late last year, is seen as the biggest threat to its stability since the 1975-1990 civil war.
