Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said on Friday Turkey would not allow what he called "terrorist" groups like the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) or Al-Qaeda to establish a presence in Syria near the Turkish border.

In a live interview with Kanal 24 television channel, Davutoglu did not specify what steps Turkey would take to prevent activities by such groups along its southeastern border.

On Thursday, Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan said that Turkey could act against a "terrorist" organisation in northern Syria if it perceived it as a threat - a warning to Kurdish militants believed to be active in the region.

beyond pathetic
Egypt news media need to establish their own reporters, and stop publishing uncensored, unquestioned, unedited Zionist propaganda. Turkey has been killing thousands of Kurds for decades, yet they participate in the Balkanization of Syria that leads to an autonomous Kurd area there, then complain about it, using it as a an excuse to invade Syria. They also decry Syria's state military for defending their sovereignty, by following Turkey's example with the Kurds. Turkey has been training El Qaeda terrorists for months now, and now they make some claim about not allowing El Queda terrorists that they transported into Syria, to be present on the Syria side of the border. How can you publish such shameless, hypocritical Zionist propaganda, designed to insult your intelligence, and to test how much humiliation you will tolerate.
