Two mild earthquakes jolt Turkey

The south-eastern province of Bingol was first to be hit with a 3.0-magnitude earthquake. The second, slightly stronger at 3.7 magnitude, hit the tourist town of Ismir, overlooking the Aegean sea

Two earthquakes hit Turkey on Tuesday morning, causing no damage.

The south-eastern province of Bingol was first to be hit with a 3.0-magnitude earthquake. The second, slightly stronger at 3.7 magnitude, hit the tourist town of Ismir, overlooking the Aegean sea.

While no damage or casualties were reported, the second shake was felt in neighbouring towns and cities.
