A Palestinian car hit three Israeli settlers in the southern West Bank on Thursday, with the driver later arrested in what police said they were treating as a deliberate attack.

The incident, which involved a black car, took place on a road near Alon Shvut settlement in Gush Etzion, a large West Bank settlement block.

The three settlers, all around 16 years old, sustained light to moderate injuries and were hospitalised, the emergency services said.

Police identified the driver as a Palestinian from the Hebron area.
