As the Israeli forces raided the outskirts of Gaza, two home-made missiles were fired at the borders by members of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP).
Palestinian sources told Al Jazeera that three vehicles and two bulldozers belonging to Israel advanced tens of metres into Gaza. They bulldozed agricultural land and carried out security sweeping.
The sources added that the incursion was accompanied by sporadic shooting but resulted in no injury or death.
This incursion comes a day after 5 Palestinian resistance fighters were killed by an Israeli reconnaissance aircraft in the Gaza strip.
