France wants its EU partners to take action, including potential sanctions, against Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan over a series of "provocations," the country's Europe minister said Wednesday.

"We need to go further... We will push for strong European responses, which could include sanctions," Clement Beaune told parliament.
