The White House on Tuesday said it was too early to link Islamic State to an attack in Texas targeting an exhibit of caricatures of the Prophet Mohammed organized by an anti-Muslim right-wing group.

White House spokesman Josh Earnest said the attack by two gunmen was "still under investigation," adding its "too early to say at this point" whether it Islamic State was responsible.
