Belgian trial for Paris attacks suspect begins

The last surviving suspect in the 2015 Paris attacks, Salah Abdeslam, went on trial Monday in Belgium over a shootout that led to his capture, AFP reporters said.

Abdeslam, bearded and wearing a white polo shirt, refused to have photos or video taken of him during the four-day trial in Brussels, the presiding judge told the court.
