Greek court has convicted four members of an anarchist group of terrorism-related offenses for a series of bomb attacks in 2009, and sent them to prison.
The panel of three judges Tuesday found three members of Conspiracy Nuclei of Fire guilty regarding bomb attacks against two former Greek ministers and a ministry — all causing no injuries — and sentenced them to 25 years.
A fourth member received a seven-year sentence for membership of the Greek group.
The militant group has also claimed responsibility for a series of mail bombings in 2010 targeting embassies and European officials, including an attempted attack on German Chancellor Angela Merkel's office in Berlin.
Eighteen suspects are due to go on trial for the parcel bombings later this year.
