President Hamid Karzai arrived at the White House Friday for talks with President Barack Obama that will shape the post-war US commitment to Afghanistan, and ultimately, how many NATO troops remain behind.
Karzai and Obama were to meet for two hours, have lunch and then will hold a short press conference, during a visit which comes as the US president prepares a timetable to bring almost all of the 68,000 American troops home.
