Canadian police on Sunday raised the death toll from a runaway freight train explosion in the small Quebec town of Lac-Megantic to five and said they expected to find more bodies.
Officials say two more bodies have been discovered Sunday, bringing the death toll to five after a runaway train carrying crude oil derailed in eastern Quebec, igniting explosions and fires that destroyed a town's downtown center.
Quebec provincial police Lt. Michel Brunet said Sunday that 40 people are missing. Brunet says that number could fluctuate.
Police earlier said that two people were found dead overnight after one death was confirmed Saturday.
