An injured Ukrainian protester whose case has sparked international outrage took a flight for Riga on Sunday after a Kiev court allowed him to leave the country for medical treatment, an opposition lawmaker said.
Dmytro Bulatov, who said he was kidnapped and tortured for eight days after helping to organise protests against President Viktor Yanukovych, "left for Riga", the lawmaker and tycoon, Petro Poroshenko, said on Facebook.
